Andre Rice
President

Andre Rice is the president of Muller & Monroe Asset Management, LLC (M2), which he founded in 1999. He also founded Rice Group Ltd. (RGL) in 1986 to identify and organize special investment opportunities for wealthy individuals. RGL organized several successful investment partnerships and provided select investment banking services to the world?s largest commodities firm.
Andre received a BS in accounting, with honors, from South Carolina State College and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is a CPA and began his career in 1978 as an auditor at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG Peat Marwick). He then worked in securities sales for the Private Client Group at Goldman Sachs & Co. Immediately prior to founding RGL, Andre was a Senior Project Manager in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department at Kraft, Inc.
Andre is a member of NASP (National Association of Securities Professionals), the Executive Club of Chicago, and The Chicago Club. Andre was also appointed by the Mayor of Chicago to serve on the board of the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.

Irwin C. Loud III

Irwin Loud oversees the development of M2?s private equity investment programs and serves on the
investment committee. A private equity innovator, he previously was Senior Portfolio Manager,
Private Equity Investments for the Florida State Board of Administration (FSBA), which manages
the state?s $110 billion pension fund. While at FSBA, Irwin played a prominent role in launching
the industry's first partnership focused exclusively on private equity co-investments.
He also was the architect of the formal structuring and growth of the portfolio to $3.2 billion in commitments.
Irwin began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A., New York, where he served as a loan officer in the international and investment banking divisions. Irwin received his BS (summa cum laude) and MBA degrees from Florida A&M University, School of Business & Industry. Irwin is a member of NASP (National Association of Securities Professionals).

Alfred D. Sharp

Alfred D. Sharp is a principal in Investment Client Services (ICS) where he will be a member of the investment team and manage key relationships of the firm. Before joining M2?s, Alfred held senior executive and consulting roles in start-up companies and turnaround situations as well as created entrepreneurial ventures. Prior to this, Alfred served as a Vice President at Prudential Capital Group, where he invested in private debt and equity instruments of companies headquartered in the Midwest. He executed over 40 deals totaling approximately $2.0 billion.
Alfred received a BA degree in Accounting from Morehouse College and an MBA degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He is a member of the Harvard Business School Club of Chicago and the Crimson Investment Club, and he is a regular guest lecturer at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management

Shannon L. Warland
Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance Officer

Shannon Warland is M2?s chief financial officer and has extensive experience managing fiscal affairs
including complex financial structures for sophisticated investors. She has worked with Andr? Rice
continuously since 1999 as controller of Rice?s independent
private equity deals.
Shannon spent seven years in ?Big Eight? accounting with Touche Ross and
Coopers & Lybrand. Shannon spent four years teaching accounting at DeVry
University. Shannon is a CPA with a BS degree in Accounting Science from
the University of Illinois, and a Masters of Taxation degree from DePaul University.

Marcia Markowitz, CFA

Marcia Markowitz is a member of M2's investment team with experience in equity
analysis, private equity and investment banking. Prior to joining M2, Marcia was
an equity analyst at Morningstar where she covered a group of healthcare companies
in sectors including eye-care, medical and dental distribution, and nursing home and
hospice providers. Earlier in her career, Marcia was an associate in the private placement
group at PPM America, providing investment research and participating in the execution of
buyout-related transactions. Marcia also worked for two years as a corporate analyst in
investment banking at Lehman Brothers, NY. Marcia is a Chartered Financial Analyst with
a Master's of Science from MIT's Sloan School of Management, and a B.A. from Barnard College.
